Module Syllabi

The Warwick International Foundation Programme (Warwick IFP) comprises five distinct academic courses designed to enable progression to a wide range of undergraduate programmes at Warwick and other UK institutions.

Below you will find copies of individual module outlines for each module available to students on each course.

Progression to Warwick

Every student enrolled on the Warwick IFP is eligible to receive a guaranteed conditional offer for a place on a related undergraduate course at Warwick. Full details about the University’s progression conditions can be found here.

In addition to the academic modules outlined below, all students must meet the University’s English Language requirements. In order to support students in achieving this benchmark, the Warwick IFP English Language Certificate will be studied by all students that require English Language support.

Course Structure

Following a comprehensive review of our curriculum during Summer 2016 a number of key changes were agreed in order to enhance our IFP offer, these include:

  • Introducing a number of elective units across four of our IFP courses
  • Removing English language training from our main programme
  • Introducing a new English Language Certificate, compulsory for students joining the course below IELTS 7.0
  • Introducing a new core Academic Skills unit to develop students’ cross-unit comprehension and analysis skills
