Information for Parents

If your son or daughter is new to living and studying in the UK, we would particularly recommend that they join the Welcome to Warwick introductory programme. The programme is designed to give the most comprehensive start to life at Warwick.

This year there are several university departments working together to deliver the programme; such as the Office for Global Engagement, Student Careers and Skills, the Library and the Graduate School. Our programme benefits from a team of 80 current Warwick students who volunteer to help welcome the new EU and international students to campus every year.

Most activities in the programme are for the new students, if you chose to come to campus with your son or daughter we have made some provision for you too, including a Parents' Information session. For more details on this session, please consult our programme timetable.

As parents of students at the University of Warwick, we understand that you want your son/ daughter to feel able to achieve his/her best. Please see here for more information for Parents, provided by our Student Support Services.

Please note you will not be able to stay in your son or daughter’s accommodation as they are all allocated single study bedrooms.Take a look here for on campus accommodation options.
