Some of the fun we had at the Year 12 Summer School 2017....
This year's highlights
Our Year 12 Summer School gave sixty three students based around the UK the opportunity to experience what it is like to study at a top research university. They attended a varied programme of academic sessions and took part in a group research project with the aim of solving a world challenge.
The panel of academics was impressed by the groups' analytical and presentation skills. The winning team received a prize at our gala dinner.
Train delays and the rain did not deter the students from taking part in our egg drop challenge and many new friendships were formed during our BBQ and Student Union night.
The participants also tried a new activity during our societies tasters, which included bubble football, climbing and ukulele to name only a few…
We would like to thank all of the participants for coming to our campus!
Our staff and ambassadors really enjoyed getting to know you all and our academics were impressed with your inquisitive mind and drive.
We hope everyone had a good journey home. See you all again soon at Warwick !

"I got to meet some amazing people, and made so many friends, and I wouldn't have been able to do all the amazing things I did if it wasn't for you accepting me and for the ambassadors (that I was lucky enough to get to know!) to give me the best week of my life!"
