Why study MORSE at Warwick?
- MORSE is a Warwick invention. It was created in the mid-1970s by a team of far-sighted academics and has developed into a flagship degree programme. This means that modules are specifically designed for MORSE students.
- Our curriculum contains a balance of mathematical theory and its applications, emphasising the links between theory and practice, and equipping you with transferable skills including analytical thinking, cross-disciplinary communication and mathematical and statistical modelling.
- All modules are taught by subject specialists, and the curriculum is organised collaboratively by the Departments of Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, and the Business School, all of which are ranked in the UK top ten by all the major national league tables. The Departments have also consistently had a high percentage of their research graded as ‘internationally excellent’ or ‘world-leading’ in the most recent external research assessments.
