Access Information

Student Ambassadors

Please find accessibility information for your visit below. If you have any specific access requirements on the day, please ask any member of our Student Ambassador and Staff teams who will be happy to help. Our Disability Services team will also be present at the Exhibition in the Rootes Building if you have questions about accessibility for students at the University.

Venue Access

All of our venues on campus are wheelchair accessible, and assistance dogs are welcome. Please ask a member of our team if you require directions or assistance. Unfortunately we do not have any wheelchairs available to hire on site.

Accessible Parking Permits

Parking on campus is strictly limited on Open Days. Blue Badge Holders and visitors with specific accessibility requirements can register for a campus parking space when booking for an Open Day visit, as there is no step-free access on our Park and Ride service. If you need to add accessible parking after you have completed your booking, please email us at opendays at warwick dot ac dot uk and we will send you a campus parking permit.

Hearing and Visual Impairments

Many of our lecture theatres are equipped with induction loops for hearing - please contact the disability services team for more information. For sessions in Warwick Arts Centre, you can borrow induction loop equipment from the Box Office - you can find more information here.

If you wish to sit at the front of a venue to see and hear the speaker more clearly, please arrive at the session venue 15 minutes before the session is due to begin and ask the Student Ambassador on the door to seat you at the front. If you have any other specific access requirements, please ask the Student Ambassador before the session begins.

You can download a large print plain text PDF of the Open Day Guide ahead of your visit, or request a hard copy when making a booking to collect at our Welcome Tent.

Dietary Requirements

Halal, vegetarian, vegan, egg, dairy and gluten free products are available in our campus outlets and Rootes Grocery Store.

If you wish to discuss your requirements further, or if you have any questions in the meantime, please do not hesitate to contact us. The Open Days team can be contacted by phone on 02476 523648 or by email on
