Research Centres

Prominent research centres that encompass the breadth of economics research we undertake

We are home to a number of research centres that focus on finding the ingredients needed by people, businesses and nations.

These can be the ingredients to compete in a global economy; for enhancing the understanding of economic theories that underscore our real-world dilemmas; and for analysing the art and science of decision-making, which lies at the heart of all economic pursuits.

This ESRC funded centre's research programme is focused on how countries succeed in achieving key economic objectives such as improving living standards, raising productivity, and maintaining international competitiveness, which are central to the economic wellbeing of their citizens.
