image Improving Accuracy in Grading Cancers:
Warwick Medical School, Coventry

On Wednesday 26th April, members of the local community were invited into the Clinical Trials Unit at the University of Warwick, for an open evening with researchers at the forefront of pioneering research into cancer treatment. Guests were welcomed by Professor Lawrence Young, Director of the Warwick Cancer Research Centre, Professor David Snead, an expert pathologist, and Professor in Computer Science, Nasir Rajpoot. Each presented their impressive areas of study before an exclusive laboratory tour, where guests were given a chance to take a look at the technology for themselves, to see where this life-saving research is conducted.
