Close a topic to replies
You can close topics to prevent new replies if the discussion has run its course, or if you're using a topic to make an announcement and don't want to allow comments.

Browse to the forum page where the topic you want close to replies is located.

Hover over the topic you want to close, then select Properties:

On the Editing an existing topic page, deselect the Open to replies checkbox:

Select Save changes.
Open a closed topic

Browse to the forum page where the closed topic you want to open is located.

Hover over the topic you want to open, then select Properties:

On the Editing an existing topic page, select the Open to replies checkbox:
