Taught Course Facilities

We provide you with the freedom, facilities and support to realise your full potential. There are many opportunities to organise your own workshops and reading groups, evening social events, cultural celebrations and more.

pg hub 250The Postgraduate Hub

Located in the heart of campus, the Postgraduate Hub provides a dedicated multipurpose area for all of our postgraduate students. There are a number of collaborative working areas (all bookable), meeting and social spaces. You can book work rooms for team projects, your own social events, lunches and independent group study meetings, or just catch up with friends.

graduate school 250The Graduate School

The Graduate School provides information on funding and scholarships; advises on University’s regulations; provides support to ensure progress and academic success; and works with Student Careers and Skills to provide careers guidance and skills training appropriate to postgraduate students. It is available as a source of information and support beyond your own academic department.

learning grid 250The Learning and Biomed Grids

The Learning Grid and the Biomed Grid are relaxed study environments specially equipped for practising presentations and encouraging group work. Peer-to-peer support is provided to develop research and it is open 24 hours a day, every day except 25 December. There is also a Learning Grid located off campus in Leamington Spa, where many of our postgraduate students choose to live.

grad deck 250The Grad Deck

Located near our postgraduate accommodation, the Grad Deck is specifically for current postgraduate students. It serves as an informal public space for events, and it's location in one of the most beautiful parts of campus. The decking area is perfect for summer soirées, while the fully equipped kitchen, dining area and comfortable seating make it a great place to get together at any time of year.

Application deadlines

Places on taught postgraduate taught courses are limited, so you should submit your application as early as possible.

If you are an international applicant and need to obtain a student visa, you will need to leave plenty of time for this process.

For this reason, international applicants must submit their application by 31 July for courses that begin in September. If you are a UK or EU applicant, there are no deadlines for applications to postgraduate taught places.

Please note that some departments will have earlier deadlines; you should check the information in the Application Fact File on each individual postgraduate taught course webpage (you can find a list of taught courses on the A-Z webpage).
