Campus Life

Get involved

Our campus is home to students and staff from many different backgrounds and from countries all over the world. It’s this inclusive and cosmopolitan atmosphere that gives Warwick its vibrancy and characteristic ‘buzz’.

We've got nearly 70 sports clubs and over 230 student societies for you to choose from. If you'd like to do some part-time work, there are lots of job opportunities on campus. Or you can get involved in a local community project run by Warwick Volunteers.

What's on campus?

Everything you'll need and more. From banks, restaurants, cafés, bars, a nightclub, supermarket, hairdresser, chaplaincy and post office – all within a 15 minute walk of our campus accommodation.

A focal point for campus life, our Students' Union is one of the biggest in the country. We've also got a cinema, theatre, concert hall and art gallery at our very own Warwick Arts Centre.

An ideal location

With city lights and countryside both within easy reach, our campus is perfectly positioned to give you the best of both worlds. We’re located in Coventry, which has everything you'd expect from a modern, thriving city. We're also close to the Warwickshire towns of Leamington Spa, Kenilworth and Warwick. This gives you easy access to great nights out, live music and theatre, cultural and historical attractions, and beautiful countryside, all on your doorstep.

I'm a member of a club called Pick and Mix where we try a different sport each week. So far this term we've tried floorball, fencing, Ultimate Frisbee, athletics, climbing, Latin and ballroom, archery, basketball, and taekwondo. I’m not great at sports but we have a lot of fun trying all these new things! Read more.

Disco Dave usually runs ‘POP’ (an SU club night) with a series of music from the 70s to today. In the first few weeks I also attended the Halloween Ball, Rave of Thrones, The Alphabet Party (a particular favourite of mine as me and my flat got the chance to dress up as Minions!!) and the Freshers Party!
