School visits

As part of our aim to help students make informed decisions about their future in Higher Education, we will often visit schools and colleges to either attend a Careers or Higher Education Fair, or to give talks on various relevant subjects.

School Visits

Presentation topics include:

  • The UCAS Application Process and Strategies
  • Writing an Effective Personal Statement
  • How to Choose a Course and a University
  • Interviews and Open Days
  • Parents Guide: Helping Your Child Prepare for University
  • Student Life at University
  • Accommodation
  • Student Finances
  • AWARDS
  • What is Higher Education? (for pupils between Year 7 and Year 9)

We normally require PowerPoint facilities.

Careers/Higher Education Fairs

We are happy to attend Careers/Higher Education Fairs in schools or colleges, where a member of the Student Recruitment and Admissions Office or a trained Student representative will be on hand to offer advice either about admission to Warwick in particular, or Higher Education in general. In addition to bringing lots of Warwick prospectuses with us, we will also have information about Open Days for pupils to take away.

Fairs for Year 12 and 13 students will usually be given priority.

If you would like a member of the Student Recruitment team to visit your school or college or you would be interested in bringing pupils to visit the campus, then please complete our Request Form so that we get all the details we require to help us process your request as quickly as possible.

Please note:  Whether we are able to give a presentation or attend a Careers fair will depend on availability of staff and the distance between your school or college and Warwick.  However, we will always look carefully at every invitation, and try to attend as many as possible, so please do contact us if you would like us to visit you.
