About the HRC

The Humanities Research Centre was established in 1995 and replaced the European Humanities Centre which was established in 1985.

  • We support interdisciplinary humanities conferences and symposia.
  • We fund 13 interdisciplinary research seminars in the arts and humanities.
  • Our Doctoral Fellowship programme allows PhD students to organise conferences in their area of research.
  • We operate a Visiting Speakers' Fund for the faculty.
  • We manage the Warwick Transatlantic Fellowship Scheme for the university.
  • We operate the Summer Research Fund for the university.
  • We produce publications with Routledge and Anthem Press.
  • We sponsor CRS membership to The Newberry Library.
